The History Of Kodak

Kodak Camera The first Kodak camera was invented by George Eastman in 1878.
It was superior to the rest because of the new gelatin “Dry Plates”
they were not as messy and inconvenient as the competitor “Wet Plates”
which had to be coated and developed while still wet. Eastmen was the
first one to successfully mass produce dry plates. Over the years (1878-2015)
Eastman’s little company has turned into one of the major camera producers in the world.
